Kinara Place in Villawood is a major mixed use renewal project led by Traders in Purple and Homes NSW, delivering a new residential and retail precinct at the heart of the Villawood community. With 400 apartments and approximately 3,800sqm of retail, the project brings new homes, daily services and neighbourhood activity together within a carefully planned village environment.
Our work focused on shaping the retail vision and master planning framework, ensuring the ground plane supports both the future residential community and the wider Villawood catchment. The retail strategy brings together a supermarket, childcare, specialty retail and everyday services to create a practical and active neighbourhood offer that supports daily life. These uses have been planned to provide convenience, amenity and regular visitation, while helping establish a clear retail role for the precinct from day one.
Now under construction, Kinara Place is beginning to take physical form. Designed by DKO with landscape by Land & Form, the precinct’s retail layer will play an important role in giving the project its public identity, supporting daily trade and helping establish Kinara Place as a new neighbourhood destination for Villawood.
