Newcastle Quay will reshape Newcastle’s waterfront and redefine the city’s identity. We won the project in partnership with Doma Group and are engaged in Stage One design and the Master Plan, working with SJB, Stewart Architecture and a world‑class project team to move this vision toward reality.
From the start, the aim has been bigger than creating another precinct. Newcastle Quay is planned as a genuine urban destination where shopping, hospitality, community life and culture meet. The public realm is central to that idea: a layered, active ground plane designed to be the region’s most compelling mixed-use precinct. Framed by landmark residential and commercial towers and enlivened with retail, food and beverage, and civic spaces, the development is intended to feel like a place that belongs to Newcastle.
At an estimated $1.6 billion in development value, the project’s scale matches its potential. Our work across Master Planning and Stage One Design embeds retail strategy from the ground up, shaping not only what gets built but how it performs and how it will be experienced every day.
