Chatswood Dive Site is a major mixed-use masterplanned precinct in the heart of Chatswood, transforming a 1.4ha site into a vibrant new residential and retail neighbourhood. Delivered in partnership with Landcom and designed by FK Studio and Oculus, the master plan comprises four residential towers centred around a new public park, with more than 1,500 dwellings to be delivered upon completion.

Retail activates the ground plane and podium level of all buildings, with laneways and street frontages designed to create a fine-grain network of shops, cafés and local services that support both residents and the wider Chatswood community. The retail layer forms an important part of the precinct’s public life, linking the surrounding streets with the central park and creating a walkable neighbourhood experience.

Working in collaboration with Landcom and the design team, we developed the Retail Vision and Retail Design Guidelines for the precinct, establishing the long-term framework for how retail integrates with the architecture and public domain. Our work included a detailed strategy for the adaptive reuse of Mowbray House, ensuring the historic building becomes a key cultural anchor within the precinct while aligning with the broader master plan vision.
