Banksia and Lacebark are the first two buildings within a broader multi stage master plan in Norwest, establishing a new benchmark for sustainable residential living. The precinct introduces a progressive model for zero carbon neighbourhood development, supporting the evolving lifestyle expectations of Norwest’s growing community.
Working with Smart Design Studio and Bates Smart, we developed the stage one retail master plan for the precinct, shaping the ground plane across the Banksia and Lacebark buildings. The strategy defines a balanced mix of hospitality, lifestyle services, wellness and fitness, creating a neighbourhood retail environment that supports both residents and the wider Norwest community.
Our work focused on structuring the lower levels of the development to ensure the retail environment integrates with the surrounding streets and public realm, helping establish an active and connected foundation for the future stages of the precinct.
